What It Take To Be a Leader
As a Human Resources (hr) Professional, you will be expected to participate with the leadership team to help develop long and short-range business plans. If you are an HR Manager, HR Director, or Vice President of Human Resources, you will work with all levels of management to develop long-term strategic plans to help cultivate the company with which you work. - You will need to be able to see the global effects of policies that are implemented
- You will provide strategic leadership over departments that encompass benefits and compensation, recruitment and selection, retirement planning, labor relations, risk management, employee relations, human resources information systems, and a plethora of reporting and legal compliance requirements
- You may be required to travel and assist with international expansion
- You will drive change management and diversity
- Develop and manage metrics to insure quality service and management
- Consult with business leaders to analyze current and future business needs
